Dec. 26, 2009

Ok...yes, it's been awhile since my last entry. April was the last time I think. Well since that last entry I've become a vegetarian, become even more out of shape and discouraged, and haven't exercised a bit until today. I RAN 1.0 MILES and walked another 1.5 MILES! Huge celebration for me today. It was hard but went very fast-I think I can do it again.

What encouraged me?
A friend of mine who had never ran in her life started to run and was feeling all the benefits I know so intimately well. She had the power to encourage and inspire this veteran runner to run!

Today and tonight I will focus on being kind to myself. I love my husband, I love my children and I love myself. Signing off-Peace from Pris

April 14, 2009

I ran.
I ran.
I ran.
Today started out slow, but then I went running and things picked up. I ate breakfast after my run, then headed to Eugene with my amazing husband. We gave a bid today on 27,000 trees. Yes, I said 27,000 trees.
I defiantly find myself looking for food when I am busy or stressed over anything. This isn't good. I am going to pay more attention to this.

Weigh in: 189.2 That is up like two pounds. Hmmm...

April 13, 2009

Alright, so today didn't go as perfectly planned, but not a total loss. I RAN. YEAH. I feel most myself when I run. I only ran a mile and walked a mile, but I ran. The bad news is I ate like I ran 15mi.

2 cups black coffee--------------just woke up. And ate after run. 10am
1cup oatmeal
1/2 cup fresh fruit

small piece of ham---------------------Ate before I left the house 1pm
8 small pieces of chocolate (from Logan's Easter basket)

1 cup roasted potatoes/carrots-------------Lunch 3pm
3 Handfuls of tortilla chips
10oz. soy latte'
2 small pieces of ham
Lrg. glass of water

2 handfuls of tortilla chips-----------------Car/in town 5pm
1/2 of Starbucks pastry

2 small pieces of pie (Bannana cream/Keylime)-------------8pm dinner
Bite of Logan's sandwich
1 cup of scallop potatoes
small piece of ham
16oz soy latte
Diet Pepsi

Glass of wine--------------------------------------------9pm hot tub

Holly Shit! That is a lot of food. Seriously. Oh my God. I test anyone to write down how much they eat when they are not thinking about it. I hope they are as shocked as me. Seriously that is a lot of food. NO vegetable at all listed either. Wow.

Alright tomorrow the challenge is running first...then NO SUGAR and eat vegetables. Wow.

How is everyone else doing?
Danni did you back to yoga?
Love to all.

This picture was taken when I felt half way good about my body. I weighed 160 in this pic. I was wearing tank with no bra. Yeah.

Now...Today 189.2

Alright it starts tomorrow. Let's do it. I am planning on getting up and running in the morning. I'll check back in with you all.

April 12, 2009

This blog is dedicated to my loosing weight in front of all my friends and family. I intend on talking about every juicy detail no matter how embarrassing it might be. I will not edit for grammar or embarrassment. I am doing this to provide a common platform for all my friends and family (or anyone else who wants to come along) who chooses to get involved in this weight loss. My hope is we will hold one another accountable and a way of tracking our individual results. I've done every diet in the book including the one where you exercise nearly everyday. I've thrown up. I've starved myself. I've taken legal and nonlegal drugs. I've done nearly everything there is be thin. The best diets we all know are illnesses, weddings and breakups, but this time I'm going to combine everything I know about dieting and fitness.

This is how I'm going to do this...
Weigh-in often (at least weekly)
keep a daily food diary.
keep an exercise journal.
Blog feeling, questions, problems.

So...let the games begin! Love to all on Easter Day.
